We are thankful for our amazing fundraisers and donors who are taking on challenges to raise vital funds for people who are living in fear of a partner or family member during the lockdown.
We have received a number of generous donations from individuals and businesses including £1000 pounds from Anna, Founder and Owner of Sweet Cures and £833 from Womble Bond Dickinson.
The fundraising challenges range from fitness challenges to people selling comics and shaving their heads. Adam is running 20 miles in a day carrying an extra 10kg and has raised over £400; the University of York Women’s Rugby Team ran a marathon between them; Alex is completing over 1000 reps a day, keeping fit whilst raising vital funds, and Simon is shaving his head and has raised over £700 so far.
Thank you to everyone who is pulling together to support our life-saving work.
You can help to provide a lifeline by supporting our appeal and funding our response to the crisis.
Your donations and fundraising activities will help us to ensure that anyone affected by domestic abuse can access support.
Staying at home shouldn't mean being at increased risk of harm. Every pound you donate will support our response and keep people safe from violence and abuse.
