Woman making notes during a training session

What we can provide

We have been providing specialist services for over 40 years. The insight we have gained from this work has allowed us to develop high quality training to meet individuals and organisations needs.

Our training ranges from basic domestic abuse awareness which normally takes ½ a day to deliver to two day in-depth, accredited, domestic abuse training. We also provide information and training on how to respond to disclosures of sexual assault. We provide training to a range of professionals including the police, GPs and housing staff. Feedback from the sessions is consistently excellent.

We are happy to provide you with a speaker free of charge who will explain the work of our organisation.

Live, online training sessions for professionals

IDAS offer a number of free training events to professionals keen to learn more about domestic abuse and related issues, and we would love to see you at a session. For an overview of the type of sessions we offer take a look at the video below.

To sign up for a free training event, please visit our training website.

If you have any questions or for more information, please don't hesitate to contact Training Organiser, Kerry Griffiths at [email protected].

The IDAS training was great.  The trainer was passionate and knowledgeable and the real life case studies helped show the importance of responding effectively to victims.  This training has built my confidence and will definitely help me in my day to day work.  Thank you.
