Workers from team IDAS in Barnsley

We’re passionate about making a difference to survivors and victims and you can help us.  In the last 18 months, we’ve experienced significant growth both financially and geographically. We are now looking for a Head of Business Development to help drive our vision and develop IDAS further.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take the lead on the funding and fundraising strategy, with the aim of increasing IDAS’ income. This will be used to deliver innovative programmes, supporting survivors and victims of domestic and sexual abuse.

With a proven track record of success, you’ll have a keen eye for new business ideas and will take the lead on identifying and developing exciting opportunities which resonate with the mission and values of IDAS. Working closely with the senior management team you will be responsible for internal and external communication across all channels. You will have an appreciation of the importance of brand and PR for colleagues, clients and prospective sources of funding.

You will be a highly motivated individual who wants to make a difference and play a key role in IDAS’s strategy. Strong relationship building skills are key to this role as your time will be spent developing new relationships, influencing the senior management team, securing new business and liaising with individuals from our partner agencies. You'll be committed to creating a culture of innovation and learning to ensure IDAS is at the forefront of domestic and sexual abuse services.

Whilst experience within the charitable sector would be beneficial, we’re looking for someone who shares our values and is passionate about ending sexual and domestic violence.
