We are Yorkshire’s largest specialist charity supporting victims of domestic violence. Our team is passionate and caring, with a shared purpose of helping people live safe lives, free from abuse. We are looking for an experienced Payroll/HR support officer based in York City Centre. The role is permanent, 30 hrs per week, salary £22,462 - £23,836 (prorata).
You would be preparing inputs for a monthly payroll, dealing with queries from staff, collating HR information, providing timely reports and supporting managers with HR issues and administration.
Current payroll experience which will include producing a monthly payroll, workplace pension enrolment and collating overtime and expenses. You must have strong Microsoft Office skills. The role is varied and it’s essential that you can multi task and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Experience of HR administration including attendance management, recruitment, HR policy support and compilation of reports is required, along with good people skills. Experience with SAGE Payroll is an advantage.
