IDAS is a specialist domestic abuse charity, committed to supporting anyone who is a victim or survivor of abuse or violence. Whatever your sexuality or gender identity we can provide support and access to safe accommodation.

We recognise the ways in which lesbian, gay, bisexual people and trans people (including those from ethnic minority communities, multi-faith groups, people with physical and neuro-diverse needs and of all ages) can experience abuse and the barriers that can sometimes prevent them from accessing support.

Our teams are compassionate, respectful and inclusive and they will work with you to provide support based on your needs and circumstances. Many of our colleagues are LGBT themselves and many have lived experience of abuse or violence.

We actively challenge sexism, homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

If you need support, whatever your circumstances or relationship, gender or gender identity, we are here for you.

Thank you for your support.  You went the extra mile for me and really saw me as a person. I will always hold a special place in my heart for IDAS and for my support worker.  When I contacted you I didn't want my life to continue, but because of your support & the services I have received, I feel that I have a future.
