Introduction and organisational structure
IDAS is a charitable organisation. Our voluntary Board of Trustees have ultimate responsibility for ensuring that project is managed effectively and legally.
We employ a Manager who ensures the smooth running of all services on a day to day basis and works strategically to raise awareness of our services.
The refuge is staffed by a small team who provide support for residents from 8am until 8pm.
We employ a number of community based workers who provide support in the areas of York, Hambleton and Richmondshire.
As well as paid staff, we recruit volunteers to supplement the services we provide.
